PARTY TIME FOR THE FANSWear your shirt with pride! Boro will mark the launch of the club’s new-look home kit by finishing the season in party-style on Sunday.

The band is back on the shirts - and there’ll be a band leading the entertainment, when top local outfit The Beer Pigs perform pre-match (from 1.30pm) outside the Riverside, alongside the iconic statues of Wilf Mannion and George Hardwick.

The stadium store will be open for sales of the shirts from 10am through to 3pm kick-off, while there’ll also be a ‘Shirt Express’ mobile unit selling only the new home shirt.

Other entertainment will come from locally-based juggler Tom Rolfe, who will perform an array of circus tricks.

There will be special offers available from the concourse kiosks including a burger, chips and Coke for just £3 (normally £4.90) and Haribo and a soft drink for £2 (normally £3).

Tickets will also be on sale before the match for a special Boro Jackpot draw giving fans the chance to win two 2008-09 season cards to the value of £390 each. Tickets will be available, priced £1 each, in and around the stadium before kick-off.

Other highlights will include:

•A series of prize draws for season card holders to win fantastic prizes including the new Boro home shirt signed by the first team squad, Sunday lunch at the Riverside, Boro champagne, signed footballs and other merchandise.

•Boro stars throwing signed footballs into the crowd.

•Face-painters.

•A series of give-aways to young fans.

•A half-time penalty competition involving 10 young fans. Only those wearing the new Boro home shirt will be chosen.

The stadium store will remain open for an hour after Sunday’s game for further shirt sales, while the Riverside’s main ticket office will be open until 7pm to give current season card holders last chance to renew for 2008-09 at Earlybird prices.

Tickets are available, priced from £24 adults, from £15 under-16s and over-65s and just £9 in all areas for under-11s.
