Season card holders and members of the new Boro Pride scheme are being given an exclusive opportunity to see Boro train at the Riverside Stadium on Saturday August 9.Admission to the West Stand Lower and North Stand will be exclusive to those producing a season card or Boro Pride card at the turnstiles.
However those without a season card or who are not members of the Boro Pride scheme will still be able to enjoy the day, as there will be a feast of fun in the Riverside car parks before the main event inside the ground.
There will be fun for all the family including children’s fairground rides, music, give-aways, face painters, jugglers, refreshments and football challenges by MFC in the community while BBC TEES will be covering the event.
The day will also provide another chance to purchase Boro’s new home and away strips from the stadium store (open 9.30am-5pm), while tickets for the Tottenham match will be available, together with information on many of the club’s wide-ranging activities.
All of the activities will be available in the Riverside’s car parks between 11am and 3pm - but the real action will take place INSIDE the stadium between 12 midday and 1pm.
That is when Gareth Southgate’s first team squad - many of them having taken part in the previous night’s friendly fixture against Sparta Rotterdam in Holland - will take part in a unique training session.
For the first time thousands of Boro fans have the chance to watch the Boro squad train at the Riverside - and several members of the coaching staff and players will be interviewed over the stadium PA system during the session.
Season cards and Boro Pride cards will be available to purchase from points around the Riverside from 9.30am on the day.
2008-09 season cards are priced from just £105 for under-18s, from £215 for 18-21s, from £270 for over-65s and from £429 for adults.
Boro Pride cards - offering discount on every Premier League home match in 2008-09 - are priced just £10 for adults and over-65s and just £5 for under-18s and those aged 18-21.
