Boro fans are being urged to rise to the challenge on the Saturday with 3,800 Tottenham supporters set to pack the Riverside’s South Stand for the opening day fixture.
Tickets are now on general sale for the 3pm kick-off against a big-spending Spurs side likely to include former Boro star Jonathan Woodgate.
Tickets are priced from: adults £26 (£25 for Boro Pride members), over-65s £17 (£16) and under-18s £15 (£10).
For the first time, Boro are offering a Family Ticket - for one adult and one under-18 - in blocks 44 and 46 of the East Stand Lower, priced just £38 general admission and just £33 for Boro Pride members.
This represents a considerable saving compared to purchasing an adult and an under-18 ticket separately.
Boro Pride discounts for the Spurs game are now available only on purchases made in person at the ticket office or MFC Retail.
Fans can snap up tickets 24 hours a day without leaving home either online at mfc.co.uk or by calling Boro’s tickets hotline on 0844 499 1234.
Tickets are also available from the Riverside’s main ticket office between 9.30am and 5pm each weekday and from 9.30am to kick-off on Saturday. They can also be purchased from MFC Retail in Captain Cook Square between 9.30am and 5pm on Thursday and Friday and 9.30am to midday on Saturday.
Supporters are asked to note that seat availability in the North Stand is limited as the majority of seats have been sold to season card holders. No South Stand tickets are available to Boro supporters for this match.
•Tickets for Boro’s second home game of the season, against Stoke City on Saturday August 30, are currently available at discounted prices exclusive to Boro Pride members.
