BORO PROGRAMME HAILED AS ONE OF THE ‘BIG FOUR’
Boro’s REDSQUARE matchday programme has been praised by industry experts as one of the best in the Barclays Premier League.
Programme Monthly , which independently reviews programmes across all four divisions, has glowing words for Boro’s popular matchday read.
It says REDSQUARE has “probably the best coverage of club personnel and club events in the country, with excellent player profiles”.
It adds: “Just as the Premier League has evolved with four clubs constantly at the top, so it is with programmes - and this is one of them. Once again it is quite superb.
“It is stunning to look at, full of interesting features and excellent photographs.”
Programme Monthly named REDSQUARE as Programme of the Year in 2007 and since then the Boro matchday magazine has been further improved, with the introduction of new pages and features.
This season, for the first time, the club has produced two covers for each issue. Also each programme is individually numbered, with the holder of the Lucky Programme eligible for a great Boro prize.
Media and Communications Manager Dave Allan says: “We have long believed REDSQUARE to be the best programme in the country - but it is good to receive independent accolades too.
“Editor Graham Bell and his assistant Andrew Clarke put their heart and soul into producing a great read, while designers HPM ensure it is visually superb.”
Published by Middlesbrough FC, REDSQUARE is designed and printed by HPM of Newton Aycliffe. Contributors include Craig Hignett - the scorer of the first goal at the Riverside - Rob Stewart, Martin Walker and Shaun Wilson. Photography is by North News & Pictures, Getty Images and Hawes Gate Photography.
REDSQUARE is available in and around the Riverside before every Boro home game, while home delivery is also available to subscribers. For subscription details, contact Craig Pinder at craig.pinder@mfc.co.uk.
