Anybody got it on a desktop? What are your thoughts, do you need a touch screen all in one to get the best out of it?

Yes, much much better with a touch screen. Without I think Windows 7 is better.

No, not got Windows 8 either. My dad has a Windows 8 laptop without touch screen and it just doesn't work as well as Windows 7 would.

But Ive seen through work and home life Windows 7 with and without touch screen and Windows 8 with and without touch screen.

No touch screen - Windows 7
Touch screen - Windows 8
