Grizzlies to beat Clippers? I don't think that will happen personally and want to see Clippers progress.

I think the conference champions will be Heat and Thunder and would have said the same at the start of the season

Will be on NBA.com every day from when the games start and watching highlights of every game from now on

Thought the Knicks defence was superb in the final quarter. Kenyon Martin has been a hell of a signing and Jason Kidd had his best game for a long time. Seen some people criticising Melo but for me, it doesnt matter if he only shoots about 40% because he is still getting big points on the board

Warriors Nuggets game was fantastic. Currently the Nets are thumping Chicago

I am loving this free NBA pass i must admit!

Westbrook injured and will need surgery. Big blow for Thunders chance if he is out for the play offs

Knicks Celtics game 3 tonight. Big chance for NYN to almost book their place. However a Celts win and its open again

Knicks defence in these play offs has been outstanding. Hopefully kill it off in 4 and then onto the Pacers#

LAC/Grizzlies at 2-2, as we all expected its such a tight series. 1 road win will probably do it

Bulls and Spurs looking good, Bulls winning an absolute classic tonight in triple OT. Lakers needing a miracle to salvage anything against Spurs

Grizzlies take control of their match up. Knicks can finish of Boston tonight, they need to! If this goes to 6 or 7 its going to have a big impact on if they can go through, although Indiana/Atlanta looks like going to the distance

pacers in 7 can't win in Atlanta. would love to see Celtics become the first team to win a series after been down 0 - 3 . thunder not looking much like title contenders at at the moment. Grizzlies could be biggest threat spurs out west

Big night last night

Knicks are through!! Almost blew a 26 point lead mind, i was watching it absolutely stunned, 22-0 run in about 3 minutes. Luckily they ran out of steam. Shumpert is playing excellently as well as Felton at the moment

Pacers, OKC and Grizzlies also through. GrizzliesLAC game was ridiculous, think it was 71 free throws attempted in the game, 2 ejections and generally just a cray end. Grizzlies looking strong, could really cause OKC problems

So OKC, Bulls!, Pacers and Spurs all picked up wins this weekend. So disappointed with NYN performance, JR Smith had another poor game and they just didnt seem to have any bite about them. Melos been poor for last 3-4 games, taking too many poor shots instead of finding the open man

Spurs/Warriors game was a classic. Double overtime, Spurs trailing by alot then blowing a 5 point lead only to win it with a big 3 2 seconds from time. Bulls surprised the Heat, they seem to have their number at the moment. I still think Miami will go through but if they were to go out, the whole thing would be blown wide open

Would love to see the heat go out but would be surprised if it was the bulls to do it with all there injures (Rose,Hinrich & Deng) Melo is not goin to enjoy playin against the Pacers D. Grizzlies/Thunder Game 1 could have went ether, Durant being clutch(Not a single First place MVP vote).

Re: NBA Thread

so another set of matches now over

NYN were abysmal. Turnovers, giving up open 3s, poor shot selection. Pacers had i think 20 offensive rebounds, most result in points. Chandler was awful, wasn't reacting to rebounds and Hibbert tortured him. Unless they have a massive turn around they won't pick up a win in Indianna so series could be over

Good wins for Miami, Memphis and San Antonio. Grizzlies now looking favourites for their series, a Westbrook-less OKC is a lot less daunting. The Miami/Chicago series is very intense, Chicago are using spoil tactics to try and get Miami rattled but they look knackered

sad to see golden state go out really entertaining team curry been killing it, can't see the coach's not making him allstar next year after missing out this year. If they had a full fit David Lee think they had a real shot at making the finals.

Lee's injury restricted them although Harrison Barnes stepped up well. Curry wasn't fit either

I fancy Grizzlies over Spurs. They look so good on defence and will be difficult to beat at home. They are the ones Miami do not want to face too

Pacers/Heat has been brilliant so far. Pacers are matching them step for step, the end in each game has been brilliant. Hibbert/George have been outstanding. Lebron been brilliant but 2 massive turnovers in last nights game in the last minute. Now can they do it at home against them?

Its been a great series so far. Some dodgy officiating mind!

Game 5 is massive, if Heat win i can see them winning in 6, but should the Pacers win and go to home court to advance? That would be extremely interesting to see how Miami would cope

Watched the last quarter before work. That shot by Parker was absolutely brilliant since 2 seconds earlier he had fallen over, and it ended the game. about 0.1 seconds away from it being a shot clock violation too

3 games now at San Antonio, big ask for Miami

Was late for work this morning watching the end of the game, what a classic. Tim Duncan first half, LBJ second, both just smashed it. That Ray Allen shot was awesome

Heat fans getting tortured over the net today as alot left early and then wanted to come back in when they heard that the team were on the comeback trail. Idiots, they have a reputation for that sort of thing too

Well that was fantastic. What a way to end one of the great series in finals history. It was so tight and turned on one missed shot from Duncan with 54 seconds to go. Lebron seals his place in history as an all time great surely?

Re: NBA Thread

Just watched the highlights now

I don't think there was any doubt about that even before this finals began. As in most sports/big events, the BIG players make the difference - 30 odd points and over 10 rebounds.

The commentator was reading out some horrendous stats from Spurs like, 4th quarter they were 6/20 and gave 7 turnovers, so the game was lost because of that not just the one shot from Duncan - if they had taken a better percentage of those chances they would have won quite comfortably

Said from the start of the season Heat would win it, not an audacious prediction by any means, but still 8)
