Super Bowl 50

PostMon Feb 01, 2016 1:38 pm

Anyone watching this on Sunday? If so, who does everyone want to/think will win? Personally I'm a Carolina Panthers fan so I'm hoping Cam and Luuuuuuuuuke can do their thing and bring the Vince Lombardi trophy home to Charlotte!

Panthers hopefully. I like the way they play and they are very good on both sides of the ball. Denver have been very lucky that their defense has been so good this year because offensively they have been horrible, especially Manning. I'm glad it's not the Patriots in the Superbowl though. I'm just hoping for a good game and not one that is too defensive and missing some big plays.

BBC or Sky? I like the lack of ads on BBC but I've watched on Sky all season. I'll probably flick between them.

As a Saints fan it pains me to say this but the Pussycats will walk it.

I want the Panthers to win it, as I have been following them for the last couple of years basically cos CAAAAAAAAAAM is class.

I won't be able to watch live this year (think its the first one I have missed live since 2002) as I am going on a 4 day stag do Thurs-Sun, and back at work on Monday so will be f...ed.

Will see how long I can avoid the result for and hopefully watch it without knowing the winner ...

Mentioned this to a couple of lads I know, thought I might as well share it on here. I was looking around the online betting for some decent value bets for this game and I noticed Bet365 are offering 40/1 on Mike Tolbert scoring 2 or more TD's. I think this may be a decent shout as I'd expect the Broncos to be more worried about Cam in short goal line opportunities so I think big Mike will get a lot of carries (if we get into those positions). Jericho Cotchery is also 50/1 for the same bet, again, a decent shout if Ted Ginn drops a few.

Panthers look to have the advantage here and I think theyt may open up a decent lead early on. I hope it is a close game though and will be watching the show :!:

I hope you're right TJ, although I wouldn't mind if we opened up a big lead and kept it, for my dodgy ticker's sake!

Very tight game, to be fair, Denver's defence is keeping them in it, cos their offence is non-existant.

Bronco's defence was awesome, far too good for the Panther's offence. Best team won.

Was a complete shock to me. I never expected Newton not to turn up. The Broncos defence was amazing, imagine the score if they had an offence !!!!

Watched it on iplayer yesterday, glad I didn't stay up for it (after a 4 day bender in Nottingham) and then come to work. Love Cam but just didn't happen for him, if he as good as he could/should be, he should get another couple of goes at a Ring.

The half time show was abysmal. Hate it when the act is crap so they get loads of kids and amateur dance groups on the pitch to pretend to be a really energetic crowd and build some atmosphere. Chris Martin looked like an absolute third wheel
