Hellblade Review

9.0 from IGN despite only taking six hours to complete, looks good but no HUD, no map, no tutorials, and if you die too many times it wipes your save data and you have to start again

Nice, been keeping an eye on this (pretty sure it's this) since I saw that video on sound design for the game. If I remember right, they tried to portray mental illness through sound by having a load of people surround a mic and take it in turns to whisper, scream, groan and stuff. Seemed very interesting.

Will pick it up down the line.

Edit: and an Essential from Eurogamer. Well, might not leave this as long as I thought.

Can't justify full whack for a six hour campaign and no multiplayer (if that's what it is)

No, me neither. Might drop quite quickly though, given all the big releases are in the next 4 months. Also Christmas and Black Friday.

Plot twist - its only £25 at launch, and that's probably how much I would have paid for a physical version. Bring on the first sale.
