Absolutely caned this last night, probably got about 6 hours in.

My first impressions are positive. It's very polished, slick and fun to play. I was in a group with some lads I've played Overwatch with in the past, having a group of players to play with makes a huge difference.

I already feel myself a lot more invested than I did with the first Destiny, the missions feel a lot more fluid and the open worlds feels more rewarding and enjoyable to explore with the random public events and adventures scattered around (that are actually a challenge too). Still can't beat that feeling of finding a rare item 8)

The end game will be the telling part (really excited to try out the raids), however I'm confident they have learnt from Destiny 1.

Haven't caned it, going along at a steady pace. Won't be raid ready for this week but will build towards it.

I'm at power level 260 now, still need a bit of for raiding.

Really need more people together to get enough for raids, also need to do the Nightfall strike's but tough to find people to do it with.

I plated a bit of the original Destiny but that was all. I'm really enjoying this game a lot. Just played the story mode so far and a couple of rounds in the Crucible.

Well I'm nightfall ready and will soon be Raid ready.

If you see me on and want to do the nightfall give me a shout. I'm quite sure Ian would be happy to team up again.

Pardon my ignorance but what is nightfall and raid? do you have to get to a certain level before getting these Barney?

Finished my first raid last night with the clan I'm in. Took 4 hours all in all but 4 of us had never done it before. The level of coordination required was immense but once we finished it felt like a real achievement.

Yes, you need 230 power to unlock the nightfall (this is a timed strike with extra modifiers) and 260 for the Raid (a six team exercise)

Got an email about free trial:

So, you’re new to Destiny 2? Then download the free trial from PlayStation™Store.

Jump into a cinematic campaign solo or with friends – and put your marksman skills to the test as you face other players in the multiplayer arena.

In this trial, you can:

• Access early campaign missions and adventures.
• Battle other players in the Crucible – with full access to the Quickplay playlist.

Your progress will carry over to the full game if you decide to buy.

You’ll need to be a PlayStation®Plus member to compete in online multiplayer modes.

Multiplayer is vastly inferior to Destiny 1. This is desperation to get people buying it before the 1st expansion pack on December 5th.

I never played the MP D1on but quite enjoying the it on D2. What is a shame is that I cannot join other randoms to on Strikes. Can you only do strikes with a clan?

Strikes you can do with randoms as it should matchmake. Nightfall you need a team of 3.

Huge negative is that both the Crucible and Strikes are on a random playlist - you cannot choose a specific strike or MP mode. MP is also only 5 modes. They have butchered it from D1.

And if you dont have a clan you are welcome to join mine. We only have a few members but will be more than happy to jump on with you. You also get extra engrams when activities are completed by any of the clan.
