FIFA 18 Reviews

Available now

Played two matches, got beat 0-1 and won 4-0 - I haven't played FIFA in about four months, and honestly it just seemed like I was playing the same game as I left

Didn't even know the demo was out, have no intention on even downloading it this year. Never mind buying it.

There's too many much much better games around at the moment, no-one I usually play with seems to be getting it.

I haven't played it in years but might go for it this time, depending on the demo/pump levels. I always get into the idea at the start of the season but by the time it comes out I've gone off it again.

Mass Effect cutscenes in career mode look like a larf.

Played quite a bit of the demo and it seems to me that they've took the worst bits and made them even more ridiculous. Watch as the ball is played through and the entire defence runs away just to let aguero score . Also great how Ronaldo is impossible to tackle and if you do succeed you will immediately fall over so he can have it back . Total farce if the demo is anything to go by I'd steer clear. I usually buy both pes and fifa but I'm going to stick with last year's offerings .

Sounds like it's ideal for little f..kers who just give it to Ronaldo and do a thousand stepovers - plenty of goals and smashed controllers/rage quits

Solid writeup in EG, and from the demo I reckon I'll have a go. 17 was properly tedious but this one seems to have smoothed over a lot of that. Will do for a few months, anyway.

Ended up getting it, it's enjoyable but far too easy to score - dont know if the players are overpowered or the keepers are just gash. Played six games last night:

3-1
3-1 rage quit
6-3
5-0 rage quit
2-0
4-2
