So, hows it going to end ?

Talk about the Boro, or infact anything else football related

Not the board, that will be Boro85 pressing the delete key, or Eddie the Off button.

Our season has stuttered and spluttered and we seem to have found ourselves in 6th. Still some tough encounters to come (including those 11 days with Sheffield United, Bristol City and Derby) but I feel we will get into the playoffs, once we are in there who knows. We have to win at Wembley sometime, right ?

6th. Then either going out timidly in the first round of the playoffs, or going on to totally undeserved Wembley glory.

I've just looked properly at the table for the first time this season and the playoffs shouldn't be beyond us. We have a much better goal difference than the teams immediately behind us so that's almost worth a point and Derby are looking dodgy. Let's hope Brentford are demoralised now their chance of the playoffs seems to have gone.

Positives: we've got to play the teams immediately around us.

Negatives: we've got to play the teams immediately around us.

We need 3 home wins and not to lose to Derby or Sheffield realistically.

Season is over now, we won’t make the playoffs.

Results went our way and the teams near us have just as hard a run in as us.

If we don't lose to Derby and beat Millwall that should be enough to get us over the line. Beware Brentford though who have an easy run in.

So, a win against Millwall does it then. What could possibly go wrong?

Good end to the season, realistically any two from Boro, Millwall, Derby, Brentford can take the final two playoff spots. We are in the driving seat and a win v Millwall on Saturday puts it to bed regarding the playoff spot being secured.

Not sure who I would want to face in the semis - don't fancy us against Villa or Fulham over two legs tbh, and we will be at home first leg.

Simply cannot bare to see us lose at Wembley again though, but guess we will cross that bridge if we get to it

And Preston, now. It's all gone ridiculously well over the past couple of weeks. I really couldn't have dreamed, even a month ago, that we'd be in the playoffs with a game to spare.
